ADJUSTABLE WRENCHES AND SCREWDRIVERS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY. Step ‘N Tilt makes core aeration easy - simply step and tilt. The tilting motion is easier on shoulders and back with a larger stepping surface
Designed for operators 4’ to 6’5" tall. Min. weight: 80lbs (one tine set), 150lbs (two sets). Start with one set regardless of weight; add the second after gaining experience
Aerate one day after at least 1" of rain or irrigation (run sprinkler zones ~60 min). Soil must be moist ~4" deep; water needs time to absorb, especially in clay. Use on grassed areas only
Works in all soil types including heavy clay - soil must be moist but not too wet. If tines can’t penetrate, soil is too dry; if no core produced, wait a day. Tines are case-hardened; can be sharpened or replaced
Ideal for small yards or areas inaccessible to motorized aerators. Creates 4.5" deep, 0.79" holes. Core remover included. U.S. Patents 8714275, 11147202, D1027582; UK Design 6152191; EU Design 008638126-0001
